General Guidance

• Do not use INI edits that remove foliage, water, or major effects beyond in-game options.
• Only apply changes exposed via in-game settings or officially documented config.
• Back up your original files before making any changes.

Safe Tweaks

• Lower PostProcessing/Effects via in-game menus where possible.
• Texture/Shadow quality adjustments for FPS are generally fine.
• FOV, gamma, and keybinds through the game UI are safe.
